I went viral again.
5 million impressions in February 2024 for my clients and myself.

I'm finally getting results from the content strategy that I made in September last year.
Which was reading a lot of books and writing threads.
But earlier, I made a big mistake.
It took me 6 months of iteration to fix it.
Earlier, I positioned my threads as book reviews. Big accounts have already captured that market, so it isn't easy to get my foot in that niche. Now, I'm positioning them as specific problems to solve.
It's a small shift, but it has resulted in huge results.

What am I doing right?
I'm documenting my process to find out what I'm doing right.
I don't want to forget these learnings. So, I want to systemize this process and convert it into predictable success.
Garbage in, Garbage out.
Earlier, my content sounded like everyone.
Because I was consuming the same newsletter, repetitive tweets, and generic threads.
But since I started consuming more content outside of money Twitter. My results have been exceptional.
As Austin Kleon said in Steal Like an Artist,' You're only going to be as good as the stuff you surround yourself with.'
High-quality consumption = High-quality output
Spending at least 60 minutes on the hook.
As Charlie Munger once said, 'Take a simple idea and take it seriously.'
Though I posted well-researched content, I wasn't getting huge impressions.
People were DM-ing that they liked my thread, but it didn't reach the masses. So, I narrowed down the problem to my hooks. Since then, I've spent at least 60 minutes coming up with 3 hooks.
Even if I write 3 hooks within 10 minutes, I'll sit at my desk and stare at my screen.
After a while, I almost always come up with better hooks.
My new strategy.
I'm going all in on quality.
Personal stories are getting out of hand.
I'll be honest – I can't bear it. Once in a while is fine, but I prefer George Mack and Billy Oppenheimer's style. These two almost always hit the target because of research-based content.
They only post once a week, but the quality is immensely high.
In a world where everyone is posting 3 tweets a day and sending daily emails, I'm going to post:
• 1 tweet/a day
• 1 thread/week
• 2 newsletters/week
I've played this game long enough to learn more quantity doesn't bring more results.
It worked for me when I was a beginner. Not anymore.
But now, I've got to go for quality and create content that I'm proud of.
Do less, but better.

That's it for the day.
