Towards the Forest by Edvard Munch 1897 circa
It’s hard to fathom this thought, but 2025 might be my highest-grossing revenue year of my career.
To think that my business came to this point after a halt last year due to the sudden demise of my father is gobsmacking to me.

I remember April 2024, when I was overworked and my agency operations were hanging by a thread.
Suddenly, I had the responsibility of selling my father’s 20-year-old clothing unit and, of course, unintentionally becoming the breadwinner of the family.
I took a 2-month break to wrap everything up. During that time, I lost 3 clients. Dealt with a breakup from my long-term relationship. And of course, smoked the shit out of myself.
In that moment, I committed to piecemeal growth.
I went back to the roots that sprang me into a writing career, my sheer love of reading and sharing what I learned.
I concluded that I must start adding more skills to my panoply to make my writing ridiculously better than most competitors out there.
It worked.

Lead-gen was still an issue for me.
During the first couple of years of my writing career, I got very, very lucky that I had too many inbounds and referrals from my audience and network.
But since I stopped being active, I lost that, and now I leaned into outbound free pitches.
It worked again.

So if this is you…
Then I hope this would give you hope.
Things will work out when you tackle them one by one. Bit by bit.
